Design Principles

01

Building Structure

Clarity and consistency throughout, every screen follows predictable patterns so users always know where they are.

02

Design for Flexibility

Accommodate differences in users and preferences, competitive players and casual gamers should both feel at home.

03

Uncluttered Sophisticated

Fun, neat, clear, and concise, with no visual noise competing with the content that matters.

Visual Identity

Dark mode by default, built for long sessions.

Users spend 10+ hours on screen weekly, so dark mode reduces eye strain. Shades of blue convey trust and dependability, white and grey keep things simple, and a bright purple accent sparks imagination and loyalty.

Reflections

Gaming is now social, commercial, and competitive, and design needs to keep up.

The key lesson: excessive clutter and advertising plague most gaming apps. Keeping the design clean and trust-building was the core differentiator, a platform that respects the user's time and attention, not one that fights for it.
